Focus of interests:

I have a keen interest in the neural mechanisms of learning and decision-making, especially in a social environment. My research focuses on the neural bases of learning in situations of social strategic interaction such as competition (game theory-based) through computational modelling, behavioural and model-based fMRI analysis. Conjointly I’m very interested in the core concept of representation but also the role of emotions in learning and the biological mechanisms underlying human prosocial behavior (cooperation, altruism). Due to my experience, I’m also particularly attentive to research in social cognitive impairments in psychiatric disorders such as Schizophrenia. Since the end of 2013, I’m part of a new blog initiative that aims to question the way science is popularized, at least in France, focusing on the way results in neuroscience and psychology are reported in the media and how it affects society. The goal of this collaborative writing project is to provide a new approach to fill the gap between neuroscience popularization articles (basic, often misleading) and neuroscientific research articles (complex, difficult to apprehend).
